The Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary has two zones: Chorkhamara Zone and Umarzari Zone each having an entry gate - Chokhramara Gate 1 & 2 and Pitezari Gate respectively. Both zones are worth venturing into, and each gate offers jeeps to discover a definite perspective of the sanctuary. Especially Pitezari Gate is the most popular and tourists' first choice for the wildlife view. The distance between the Chorkhamara zone and the Umarzari zone is approximately about 14 km.
When visiting the Chorkhamara zone, tourists can enter through either Chorkhamara Gate 1 or 2. This zone is highly recommended for exploring the park, as it offers numerous attractions and peak wildlife sightings. The area is rich in various animal and bird species, including Dholes, bison, sambar, and a wide variety of birds, making it ideal for nature enthusiasts. 2. Safari permits are mandatory to produce to avail entry to the safari zones.
3. To avoid any mismanagement or last-minute unavailability of jeeps, online safari booking in advance is the best option.
4. Jeep safaris are available in Nagzira in two shifts a day - morning and evening.
5. Continuing the safari ride beyond the mentioned hours is strictly prohibited.

Entry Permit and Jeep Safari at Nagzira National Park allows entry to the Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary, in the Bhandara and Gondia districts of Maharashtra and help travel around the sanctuary in a Jeep.
The sanctuary houses over 34 species of mammals, 36 species of reptiles, and over 166 species of birds.
The entry permits for Nagzira safari booking are provided between 7 am to 6 pm (October to January) and 7 am to 7 pm (February to June).
Nagzira Safari Instructions
1. Any fake passes or entry permits in another person’s name will not be entertained. Other pretensions will also lead the persons to huge fines as well.
2. The availability of a pass with the ID Proof should be shown at the entry gate or when asked by the Forest official in Tiger Reserve.
3. The complete information of the personal details should be appropriately mentioned while making reservations otherwise entry will be prohibited to the Tiger Reserve.
4. Tourists must arrive half an hour before the gate timings to shun last-minute bother. Timings can vary as per the convenience and latecomers will not get the entry.
5. No allowance for alcohol and non-veg food inside the Tiger Reserve. Tourists also make sure that they are not carrying non-permitted stuff inside the ecotourism zones of Tiger Reserve.
6. Any sort of weapons are not allowed within the wildlife sanctuary.
7. Pets are strictly not allowed inside the Tiger Reserve.
8. All tourists are not allowed to come outside from vehicles except authorized places.
9. Smoking or any sort of fire inside the Tiger Reserve is not allowed at all.
10. Only designated places driving inside the Tiger Reserve are allowed within authorized timings and outside Tourism areas are not allowed as well.
11. You cannot approach wild animals and birds and attempting to feed them is strictly prohibited inside the park.
12. No private vehicles are allowed inside except the jeeps registered with the Tiger Reserve Authorities.
13. Maintain the 20 kmph speed inside the Tiger Reserve.
14. Make sure to maintain a distance of 50 m between two vehicles inside the Tiger Reserve and maintain a distance of 30 m from any wild animal. Also, do not stay at any place for more than 15 min.
15. Tourists to the Tiger Reserve are governed by the conditions of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
16. Disobedience of any of the above rules will lead to strict penalties. All the tourists are responsible for their actions such as personal injury and any other losses.
